Is there a way to do a cab mount chop while keeping the front mud flap? I live in Ohio and having the mud flap also helps a lot with the snow building up on the frame and having salt sit there. Thanks for the help!

You should look into rokbloks instead, they are flexible so they won’t be ripped off and give more clearance for tires.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
No Point to do a CMC if the flaps are on you will hit the flap way before the Cab mount.

I know, but I am trying to not get as much salt and mud packed into the frame.

I don’t own the Rokblokz, it’s just the only aftermarket mud flaps I know of that work well with 33s. I currently have 265/70/17 Falken AT3Ws, but will be going to 255/80/17 coopers any day now.

I would think you could heat the mud flap up with a heat gun to fit the new contours of the cmc.

Definitely fills out the wheel wells better. My falkens are pretty aggressive and run large for a 265 so they aren’t too bad with just a 2.5” lift. But I wanted a little bigger tire and also E rated so I don’t slice through these P rated tires offroad.

You running Falken AT3Ws? I'm considering those as a less expensive option to replace my Cooper ST Maxx soon.

The Coopers have been stellar all year tires in Montana. Beat the shit out of them and they keep going too.

Let me know how it goes. Tried the same thing and gave up. That plastic (contrary to the fender liner) doesn't like heating up.

Yes there p rated 265/70/17, which are very quiet and good on road. I am just always worried about them offroad so I wanted to make the switch to something E rated. I’m still considering a second set of wheels to switch to since I don’t offroad a lot. They were also great in the show, and we get a lot of that here in Buffalo.

Where did you have your CMC done in Ohio? I am in the Dayton area and would love to have a reputable shop do mine.
