FIC has been lurking here on TW and noticed our thread here. They reached out to me and have said that FIC management will not authorize them to do another group buy.

I realize this is a let down. Sorry for getting everyone’s hopes up.

If for some reason anything changes, I will update y’all.

J/K .... I don't hate you. You have done some ground breaking advancements with these S/C over the past several years and with out this group I would forever stay stock S/C most likely.
I have no problem spending the money. Its the better half that will give me a hard time about it.

 

Not gonna lie, keep coming back to this thread hoping it was a mix up or a hoax
Maybe it will all work out in the long run.

With everyone that participated last time, we generated close to $10,000 in sales for them. I was pretty disappointed to hear they wouldn't do another deal. Even if it was a smaller discount than before, it would still be nice to get at least some discount, considering the free advertising on social media and here on TW.

They may possibly still help us out with the plug and play harnesses but that is only a maybe until I hear otherwise.

 

The group buy was never guaranteed anyway and I since I chose the FIC version of the fuel rail I already assumed the cost of purchasing the FIC injectors at retail.

 

Its kinda like how Magnuson wouldn't do another group buy for the S/C after the first one.

Would be nice if they threw in the plug and play harness. That was also on my list.

Same here. I’m gonna hold out for a bit though and see what happens.

 

Exacty. In the grand scheme of what is my Tacoma, a couple hundred is a very small amount. But my opinion on saving money is that pennies add up to dollars. I appreciate every opportunity to save a few bucks.

 

May do the same, gotta spread these purchases out a bit to keep that cash flow positive !

 

Yeah, I’m trying to stay off the wife’s radar! I can deal with a small blip for a great deal, but if I’m paying retail it’s going to be when it won’t be noticed!
