If your coming this way there is a Tacoma scrap yard that is off the map.

There are probably 50 tacoma at this yard and they buy almost all of them at auction.
You might find one person that speaks English there.
Apparently most all the parts go to south of the border from this yard.

i do not have the supercharger and once my engine was 'properly' broken in and first oil change at 1k i tell ya i could not wait to hit that 90mph on i70 rolling into KC area from St Louis in 'off-peak conjestion' when the multi lanes opened wide for the taking and hanging out in the shadows

22yrs later it still feels very much the same doing the Italian tuneUp :D every now and then.
... i don't often travel that fast anymore since lately I cannot trust the road conditions around here with the crap road maintenance everywhere it seems :annoyed:

What does have you driving so much? Work? If so, what do you do for work?

Despite 320k miles my 2.7 Ext 4x4 can easy speed up to 85mph - that's the MT (speed limit on freeway is 87mph) but even with 2012 4Runner I don't do that often. The nature of the freeway traffic here is that either you keep on the left lane at 95mph or more, or stay on the right at 65-70mph or less. Anything between is non stop "in and out" passing trucks and escaping from high speed BMW or Skoda (popular company car for man who wants to have BMW) - frustrating and tiring.

Now my Tacoma is aging slowly with maybe 1-2k miles a year serving as a drive around the city car so there is no way it will ever get to 400k. 4Runner gets all the long distance travel.

I remember one of the first times I was back in Germany visiting my mom after having a driver's license... I had her little 3 cylinder Opel Corsa doing 160 km/h on the autobahn, and stared in amazement as a Mercedes Station wagon flew past me at prob 220 km/h or so... oh Europe

It's a joke. BMW = Bandit MotorWagen - they think they can do anything and no rules apply .

I thought it was clever and good for a laugh! Looks like BMW drivers annoy everyone else all over the world, not only here in States :D

In Germany there was a slang term "BMW= Bayerisher Mist Wagen"... roughly translated to Bavarian manure wagon

I travel a lot for my job, basically any direction within a 4 hour radius of my office. I have both a back/neck support and memory foam seat cushion. The support has been a life changer. Checkout https://therapeuticainc.com/ if interested. The product shown in the photo is the spinal orthotic/auto support. They have a sizing chart to measure your torso length (I'm a Large). If you get the right size it's amazing how well it supports the curvature in your back and neck. No automobile seat can even come close to it. I take it with me everywhere, even if I ride in someone else's vehicle. First time I used it I drove 6 hours from Chattanooga TN to Fayetteville WV and my back didn't hurt at all.

    i like that!
looks like it has decent lumbar support, i wonder how it compares to my adjustable lumbar support seats.
I might check with my local Relax the Back store to see if they have a demo
do seat covers fit over it pretty well?

what's the approximate cost for that? i did not see it on the website

Drill down the "Products" link on the top left of their page.

    I believe retail is $150. I think I paid $130.

    I don't give a crap if it was $500, I'd still pay.

    I actually have 2- the 2nd one I keep in my RAV4.

Just found this thread, so i thought i would add to it. 02 extended cab 4x4 original drive train with the original clutch. It does have about 537 on it now. This truck has never been babied but it has never been abused either. About all i have ever changed on it is ball joints, one coil pack, and the radiator. It is still my DD and it probably has 75,000 mile in 4WD around coal mines. 02.jpg IMG_7586.jpg
