I printed these a while ago, low profile hub caps to replace all the ones I had torn off in the rocks.

IMG_20190618_220415768.jpg I will be uploading a series of parts similar to the RAM mounts. Just have a few small changes to make to get everything fitting nice and smooth. I will do ones that also use a small tpu piece to help hold everything nice and tight

They're still in your door. Pull the plastic back and reach in. They're at the bottom

Tell him to pull the speaker actually, 4 10mm bolts and an electrical connector. Way easier.

Any chance these are on Thingiverse yet? Did you use PETG to print?

I'm working on an insert for that rectangular "cup"holder, that would have modular inserts. Trying to make one for my Baofeng HT, will make another that holds coins, etc.

Im the one that lost them in the door. I pulled the plastic back and the speaker and no lie I think they vanished like a fart in the wind. I used some thin Velcro and it did the trick. $4 a piece for those clips, I laughed out loud when she told me that.

If you can get me a good straight on photo of one, and some of the basic dimensions, I should be able to get them drafted in no time

For you ham guys that don't want to keep your radio displays on the dash while not in use, I drafted a little 1" ball to keep the wire and connection in place.
Goes into a 1" Ram mount.

Printed out a backing box for a 4 switch panel to mount in the bed. Has a fairly water resistant wire entry guide on one side, and in case water does get in, there is a bit of a drain tube on the bottom. Slightly way over enginerded...IMG_20190710_093147872.jpg IMG_20190710_093502395.jpg

How about just making a nice beefy T style shifter handle? I really hate these shift knobs.

A few years ago at SIGGRAPH there was a prototype company that specialized in 3D printing and their finishing techniques were top of the line to the point where it was difficult to tell what was a machined and painted part VS 3D printed and painted. If you are into finishing this blog post has some good tips on how to do it.

Protolabs is pretty damn good too. Not necessarily cheap, but they can do pretty much any process.

Speaking of which... does anyone have any interest in the center switch panel for the overhead console? They end up being $27/each ordering 10 at a time when using their multijet process. It would require painting afterward.

I went this style so I can have room inside to wire up about 6 buttons to control outside lights and accessories. Trying to keep it rounded as possible as I am not a huge fan of t-style handles.
    To each their own

Not exactly sure. I recently got into 3D printing and there are a bunch of random cool things for the 3rd gen but almost none for the 2nd. Just looking for things to mess around with for my 2nd gen or for my wife's 5th gen 4runner
