Long/hard start, truck doesn't always start need to hit the gas - 2003 Tacoma TRD

    Damn! I appreciate the link, man. I figured it was on it's way out, I just wasn't sure. If I drop the driveshaft I might as well do u-joints to make sure everything is good to go, huh?

    yeah that would be a good time to do it. The carrier bearing is pretty easy to do, just make sure you mark the driveshaft and the flanges so you know how to line everything back up when you put it back together. The driveshafts are carefully balanced and if you reinstall them differently than how they came off, your vibes could get a lot worse
