Android headunit that does actually fit perfect!

While it doesnt seem to be out yet, I was looking at joyings radios and came across this.

Its listed as for a corolla, but looks like it will fit our dash perfect!

Going to order one as soon as they are available.

On a related topic of this, I have been researching these headunits (my neighbor has the 10 inch in his ford) everything on them seems great, but its missing 2 features that I need/want.

HD radio and video out. I need the HD radio, and im putting headrest monitors in and would love video out to run them.

 

I don't need either of those I just need a replacement for the factory head unit reset itself all the time on a bumpy road

 

Well I ordered one. I think I can do without hd radio and video out. Should be here on the 8th of July.

Still need to figure out a good solution for rear head rest monitors though.

Update, looks like it should be showing up tomorrow. Its going to my work, so thats going to be a big maybe if actually shows up. Amazons shipping likes to drop things off "in a secure location" but doesnt tell me where that secure location is in a giant office building with 8 floors... other times they just leave it in the lobby. Ive requested they use UPS or USPS when shipping my items because they actually show up to me.

So, guess I may have a update tomorrow, or at least by monday.

Posting on this thread so I can remind myself to take a picture of my head unit. I went with the other dash replacement kit that's not the metra kit.

I've got no gaps or anything. What I ended up doing was putting the head unit with the brackets into the dash kit, moved it around until there was no gap, and then screwed in the mounting screws and attached the faceplate. It looks great.

 

This is for anyone who visits this thread and just wants to see a picture of the headunit.
