Delayed Century camper shell order

Has anyone experienced significant delays with orders from Century? was originally quoted 3 weeks for delivery, its been 7 weeks.

This is my first purchase of this kind. Not sure if this is normal and to continue with the order or to cancel and switch to another manufacturer.

Century was one of my options here in PA, but I went with ARE at a different dealer. I was quoted 3-4 weeks, but delivery was a little over 6 weeks. My guess; dealers are extremely optimistic in their estimates, knowing it is unlikely you will pull out of an order when they are late.

 

ARE CX HD took a little over two months to get. Will have installed next week.

Taught me patience.
