need suggestions - 2nd gen dc speakers/amp

    want to replace all door speakers and head unit. should i power all speakers with an additional amp? or power some with an amp and some with the head unit? which ways? i know wiring is going to suck either way.

    Depends on how loud you want it to be before it distorts.

    With an amplifier you can get clean sound louder. Without an amp you are limited on volume. My advice is to go with an amplifier if you plan to add a subwoofer ever. A 5 channel amplifer is the easiest wiring and space saver.

    i currently have the jl audio dual stealthbox powered by a kicker mono amp. was thinking about adding g a four channel for all the door speakers.
