    Here is what I would like to see;

-Keep the “old school” body on frame construction
-Make the body 1 1/2” narrower than the current model
-Offer a hybrid version (Tundra hybrid is coming)
-Increase the headroom so drivers don’t hit their head when entering/exiting the cab
    -Address the awkward seating position
-Ditch the composite bed for 100% aluminum
-Aluminum panels for all of the exterior sheet metal
-Fully boxed high strength steel chassis
-Full LED headlights, taillights, turn signals, interior lighting (ditch the incandescent bulbs)
    -Increase the soundproofing
-Offer a high end stereo option that truly sounds awesome (aftermarket loves you right now)
    -Better feeling brake modulation
    -Standard 300hp 4-banger turbo that’s rated for at least 22/26 mpg’s
-Standard 8-speed speed SMOOTH shifting automatic transmission
-Real steel bumpers front/rear (like the new Ford Ranger)

Absolutely NO to a 4-banger turbo. Hell no in fact. Keep in NA.

A hybrid sounds pretty cool though.

Why? The 4-banger is brutally underpowered compared to other similarly (and smaller) 4 cylinder motors. I’m fine with staying NA but it needs at least 50hp more.

Make the truck smaller like they used to be, my Tacoma is the size of a regular pickup.

    I mean keep the NA 6 or do a hybrid 4 or hybrid 6. I don’t want a turbo.

Application and TW background check for qualifications. Instant DQ if you’ve complained in more than 5 threads Or if you can’t name off the differences between all trims before a committee. You must road test across the country to see if the seats hurt your sensitive areas, and if at any point you reference a raptor you’re outright banned from Toyota products for not being “core” enough.

I'm not in the market for a new Tacoma, but when I see a nice 3rd gen. I can envision myself driving one, then I remember the V6 is the 3.5, which probably isn't that bad. Really they need to put the manual back in the 2.7.

I would like to see the TRD Pro available in a double cab w/6 ft bed. As well as a access cab w/6 ft bed. I use my truck for extreme offroad camping and need the 6 ft bed for a 180 Leer shell to sleep in. I would like to see more availability of the TRD Pro model at dealerships as well. The 5 ft beds are useless to me.

I’m asking why? I’d take a turbo 4-banger for sure. I like the way small motors with small turbos drive. The small turbo has almost no turbo lag and they just punch. A lot of fun to drive.
