New to the forum but i'm sure you guys have talked about this. I know every store has air pumps for cars but does any one make a high quality 12 volt air pump for your car. Someone has to make them just don't know where to start looking.
    Thanks.

Going a different . Have a 240V air compressor in my shop that I blew the bottom out the tank about a year ago. 240V motor , sears, two piston . Got to looking at 5 and 6 Hp gas motors you can buy a bran new one for 130 dollars on e bay. Have one inbound now. Taking the electric motor off the thing replace it with gas. Getting a new tank will be able to fill my own tires up.

Hey do you have any pictures of where and how you mounted the tank and compressor? I've been thinking about doing a hard mount compressor for a while, and it seems like Puma is really good quality/price when compared to ARB or whatever. Only downside I can see is size, which limits mounting options..

I posted some on tacomaworld somewhere, but I can’t find them now and there def not on my phone anymore.
I mounted the compressor right behind the cab under the bed outside the frame rail and I mounted the tank inside the frame rail.

Curious just how did this play out??

How much did it cost you to connect the engine to the compressor??

1750 rpm off the engine shaft ?

Was this electric start or pull start ??

We would all be very curious .

The gas motor is cheap. 130 off e bay. I already have that. Rest is still on the old compressor. LOL I bought the Tacoma I"m a trucker, stay out 2 to 3 weeks been so wide open fixing it up that project is still pending. Have looked at some tanks to mount on the top of the camper top on the back but have not started on it yet.
