    Hear me out

Our first gen suffered the dreadful frame rust, and the rust is from the inside out. So I came up with this idea, active rust control.

CPV is the answer! I’ll disconnect the CPV system from the factory and plumbed the hoses from the valve covers to a hole in the frame. Oil vapor from the valve cover will coat the inside of the frame, no more worry about rust.

Disclaimer, I’ve just hosed down the undercarriage of my truck with WD40, so the smell may had affected my thoughts.

Anyway, let me know if that’s a good idea or the wd40 talking.

If youre losing that much oil through your PCV system, youve got some big issues lol. Just fluid film it and be done. It works. Its proven. Its cheapish. Its not complicated. Dunno why some people avoid the stuff.
