Idler pulley squeal at 25k miles

will a TRD Pro grill be grounds to deny warranty for a engine idler pulley squeal? It does it at 2k RPMS or above.

Only “mods” are
1. TRD PRO GRILL.
2. TRD PRO WHEELS.

Your mods are not enough to deny warranty, but I bet the dealer will say, "It's normal, they all do this."

 

Correct and the fact that your warranty is a performance contract between the owner of the vehicle and Toyota...a dealer could deny a customer concern or customer complaint but they can’t unilaterally deny a claim that can only come from a Toyota regional rep. Besides Trd parts are approved for use by Toyota on Toyota vehicles.

I had a squeal due to dirt. Or if I washed dirt into belts/pulleys. VERY annoying. Just have to try to do a better job keeping the engineer bay clean between trips. Good habit anyways since the dirt wear increase wear.
