Amazon PRIME DAY Monday, July 15-16, 2019-Post Up Those Deals!

If anyone wants a quick summary of the items everyone has “found” then scroll down to the bottom of the page and view the list of products discussed in the thread.

Here is the rest of the normal info:

Prime Day 2019 begins at midnight (PT) on Monday, July 15, and runs all the way through Tuesday, July 16.

Subscribe and share your best deals or the deals you think everyone should know about.

Unfortunately on the actual Prime Day I will not be finding the individual deals people post and copying a link onto this first post in the thread. I would have to take two days off from work and spend every minute on Tacoma World either updating or waiting to update and I do not have that kind of free time. See my note below for the plan to cut through the BS and link directly in the thread to where the deals are first posted.

Why post this thread? What I wrote last year holds true this year:

"I have found the deals hard to find. I cannot spend hours looking through the crap to find the diamond but I have had good luck with threads like this. We all share common interests and often something that interests one of us will interest most of us so the more people that subscribe to the thread and post deals the better the chances we will all have of finding something decent."

You must be an Amazon Prime member participate in Prime Day.

Sometimes this is more hype then reality but some of the best deals I have found are ones that other people have provided links to so share early and often.

Note: Inevitably members will subscribe and post to this thread before the sale starts next Monday. There will usually be pages of "discussion" and "chatter" about the upcoming sale before it actually starts. When the sale finally kicks off I will pop in and post a link in this initial post so people can go directly to the first post that really starts to talk about the deals available so people do not have to shift through pages of "stuff" before getting to the deals.

OK, here is my idea to leave the thread uncluttered. If you are going to subscribe to this thread and want the world to know rather than posting in the thread that you have subscribed, go to the top right of the first post and click on "Watch Thread". Then simply like this post. If you have liked this post then we know you are watching and the thread does not get 10 pages of nothing before the actual sale starts. Just and idea but what the heck, may as well give it a shot.....

Hopefully this thread will remain strangely unposted in until Prime Day deals start to be posted but this post in the thread will become wildly liked!!!!!

 

Sooooo, one unintended outcome of everyone doing such a fantastic job of keeping this thread clean is that it slowly sinks to the bottom and less and less people will be able to see the thread meaning that less people sign up and less deals get posted on Prime Day. Oooops!!!!

That wasn't the intention! So once a day I will bump the thread to the top of the heap to help generate more interest. By my ultra quick math skills that means there will only be 5 posts before the sale begins on Monday. In the meantime they are having some "Pre-Prime Day" Prime Day sales so if anyone sees one of those that is good, please post a link!

**EDIT** And thanks to @DrFunker who educated me that I can delete my post that says BUMP after I post it and the thread will remain at the top of the recently view threads list. So I will make sure I bump the thread more often and delete the bumps.
