They were super simple. The hardest part about the vent rings is that they have plastic welds. I used a knife and a dremel to get rid of them. The cup holder ring, you’re gonna have to pull up the entire center where the e-brake and shift lever is. Remove the knob and it just pulls off. If you want to do the shift boot ring too, there’s a zip tie under the boot, just cut it and plasti-dip

none yet, but do I intend to change that
First couple of things Ive done to this taco as I just recently purchased it in June. Did a bunch today. Started out simple with the black inserts for the tailgate, then moved on to putting on the Westin HDX stainless drop steps, and finished the day off with new 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks on 17x9 -12 offset Helo HE878 wheels. next on the list is the Bilstein 5100 lift and either RCI or CBI skids!

Bought a new shifter, exact same dimensions as previous, just different texture and look. Compliments the interior better.

Looks great! I ordered the identical cap with the same options about 5 weeks ago. Was told it would be ready in about 4 weeks, give or take a week. Now I'm thinking it's time to call the dealer. If your wait is average... I'm waiting for a bit yet and that would suck. I need this cap yesterday!

We took our Tacoma off road for the first time. We traversed the trails at Green Mountain Washington all the way up to 4,000 elev. We encountered two 3rd gen Tacos in MGM coming down as we were climbing the mountain, we all engaged in the obligatory hey wave :wave:as they reciprocated:wave:. On the way up we stopped and did some plinking and also let the dogs out for a romp. Here are a few pics of our Sunday afternoon excursion.

We encoutered about 100 of these little pond type puddles along the way

    Climbing

    Enjoying the views

    Beautiful vista

    Short break

    Plinking

I bumped the front-end up a skosh - about 1½". It sagged a bit after installing the Slimline and the 12k winch and was causing the front left tire to rub at times.
Truck seems to ride a little better now too but maybe I'm just imagining that. :)

I love your schnauzers. My wife is allergic to cats and dogs so we went many years without one. Then my oldest son found out that schnauzers are hypoallergenic since they don’t shed so she agreed to try one out. That was 12 years ago and she has never had any problems. Ours looks just like the black one on the right. Great dogs. You also had a great trip.
