my automaic changes gears hard

    I’ve had this issue before. Truck wasn’t necessarily shifting hard but I cane to a quick stop once and it slammed into gear (honestly thought the dude behind me might have tapped me) had a look and there was a leaking transmission line (super common) it wasn’t completely empty but it was low. I replaced the line and topped it up and I haven’t had a hitch. It’s been about 5 months now

    Prerunner, Towing Package, Convenience Package, Tonneau Cover
    Have you let it warm up fully before driving it? Give that a shot just to see if there is any difference in it shifting? Cost you nothing but a little gas and if that isn't what is causing it, then you can get that idea out of your mind.
