Not truck related but...Recently went backpacking to Young Lakes in Yosemite and caught my first fish on a fly rod (4 to be exact in 30 minutes!) So excited, and pardon me with how silly I look holding my first fish, I was so scared to hurt the little guy! :pCan't wait to get back out there! Hoping to do a SW Colorado trip or maybe an eastern Sierra trip late September to hit some alpine lakes and streams!
    What a beautiful place!!
In other news got me a Pelfreybilt fuse mounting plate to get my electrical cleaned up

And realized when I went to tear out the fender wall plastic that is rubbing the tires that my snorkel intake is not properly aligned :angrygirl:so I need to fix that and get the pillars mount fixed too.

Also, helped a friend mount his sliders on his 4 runner. The slider tubes were pre-made, I helped him attach support tubes to the frame and weld those tubes to mounting plates. First time welding tube, it was challenging but fun. They came out alright!

Whelp, couldn't pass up the 30% sale at Demello so got me a Baja hoop front bumper!
Now to see what relentless has in store for the Labor Day sale to score a hi clearance rear with swing out. My bank account hates me. But it was time...

So this finally happened...the battery died after using the tent lights for a few hours, still drove home all the way from jTree, and a few around town trips, then all of a sudden after a colder night I tried to start it in the morning and ...nothing. All the lights worked but it just wouldn't turn over. Spent a fortune on this battery from OReillys but don't have time to wait for one off Amazon to arrive in a week
Ended up being about $340 after taxes. Still need to get it installed. And on another note waiting for some hardware pieces to come in so I can get my Pelfreybilt fuse plate mounted.

yeah ridiculous. unfortunately don't have a choice to wait. gonna check the alternator to make sure that isn't busted. Yes I still have it, keep meaning to drop it by. I'll do it this week. I thought it was weird too. maybe it wasn't solely the tent lights? Maybe cold morning and the fact that it's 3 years old?

Finally got some hardware to mount my Blue Seas fuse box and breaker to the @Pelfreybilt mounting plate. Now to figure out the wiring, I am not electrically minded...

    New mods:

Got my IFS skid installed from BAMF. 1/4" beefy steel replacing my torn up Relentless aluminum
Got the trilogy so hoping to mount up the mid skid later tonight. The transfer case skid will have to wait til I get the exhaust rerouted

Got new splashguards installed. The other ones were falling apart after I took them off to install the UCAs awhile back. Quality stuff

Bought a Smittybilt X20 wireless and waterproof winch to pair with my new Demello Baja hoop bumper

    Bumper pics to come

    Updates:
    Mileage 80,451

Got a 2 Ton Pro Eagle off road jack. Love this thing! Makes getting the truck up so easy with the extension. Works so smooth and moves easily.

Finally got around to replace 2 of the 4 LCA cam tabs on the passenger side with these beefy Total Chaos ones. Fixed 2 of 4 that were damaged on the drivers side earlier this summer. So much easier to access and weld it with the skids off. And way easier to drill through metal with the proper bits!

Because of the damaged and seized up bushings necessitating the cam tab replacement, I opted to put on a new OEM style Moog LCA.

Became more confident with my welding skills so finished the passenger side CMC by finally welding on the plate (2 years after I chopped).

And lastly got passenger side Wheelers Off-road super bumps installed. Needed to do that for probably 3 years now since the previous plates didn't have the predrilled holes.

Next weekend planning to put in new gears- 4.30 from yukon that was preassembled by ECGS. Then sand and repaint bed rack and reinstall the RTT and hopefully get to camping in a few weeks!

    Wow I am so behind.
Got the Wilco Tiregate up and mounted. Love having the tire out of the bed. Don’t love that there is no latch system to lock it, you have to feed a pin through holes to shut it. So after many months, I decided to order a Rigd Supply hitch mounted tire swing. Comes with a rago panel and a camp fold down table. Pricey, but it comes with the latch and tire rides lower not to block the rear mirror as much.

Waiting for my GFC camper. Currently #399. Hope for it to be done in sept/oct then a big road trip up to MT to pick it up and break it in!

This week finally got my Kings from a super exhaustingly long GB. Got Extended with Adjusters and 700# coils. Wow, it is like riding on clouds! And I love that I can adjust on the go, too stiff? Click click. Too soft? Click click.

Currently out camping to break them in.

It allows three different mounting heights for the tire which is really nice. I ended up having to put it on the lowest setting (which is technically for 35" tires but the fold down table dictated those termns). The latch system is easier to use than the Wilco pin. And i love having the drop down table. I think I'm going to stick with this instead of dishing out for a swingout high clearance bumper
And I also love that it mounts with a little bit of a slant, just looks more natural and it also rides closer to the tailgate which the Wilco was way out.

Loving the new tires! KM3s are quiet on the road even after initial break in of over 600 miles. Excellent road manners and really helped me out when I got bogged down in deep loose sand. Just threw it in 4 high and watched plumes of sand and dust get strewn everywhere.
My GFC camper just moved INTO PRODUCTION! Means 8-10 weeks out. So excited!!
The new Dometic fridge kept drinks and food cold and popsicles frozen in the freezer compartment even when it was 102 outside.
Runs into the Blue Sea aux 12v panel easily.Got the fuse panel hooked up finally. Much cleaner under the hood- despite all the dried mud.
