I have a 2012 4x4 Tacoma and the motor light and the track control light both stay on and it acts like the transmission is slipping. I put a new battery on it and it ran fine for a min and had no lights on, but after a couple minutes, the lights came back on and it started doing it again. Anybody know what would cause this. It seems like some kind of sensor. Thanks

Go to auto zone or one of the other local to you auto parts stores and have them pull codes then come back and post them here.

Don’t remember the codes but it did say something about some kind of air valves are stuck in the open position. Number one and number two if that means anything to you. But, I will try to get the codes. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Probably the SAI but no way to confirm without the codes. Take it to the dealer for a free fix (this is covered under warranty for 10 years/unlimited miles on the 2012).
