Anybody straighten your own steering wheel?

Had an alignment done and I’m very particular on my wheel being perfect! It does NOT pull and the alignment seems great now. But the wheel is slightly turned left. I’ve seen where you can adjust the steering tie rods equally to correct steering wheel. Seems easy. Anybody done it? Tricks?

 

Yeah. Either jack the whole front end up or simply pull it onto a slick floor on top of some cardboard. Mark the tie rods and adjust quarter turns at a time EQUALLY as to not throw off the alignment. I do it all the time after shop alignments

 

Thanks. Shops rarely get the wheel straight. As I said the alignment is great. Snaps to center fine, no pull, etc. just a hair to the left on the steering wheel.

 

What like... make it not round? Why?

 

The last time I had an alignment I specifically asked the shop to center my steering wheel and they did.
