Was 1000% my dumbass fault, I've climbed that thing so many times I didn't think anything of the bigger ruts and went for it. Immediately got pulled into one and pushed right into the wall. Lesson learned.

Reminds me of that thread where people thought it was okay to possibly go and pull parts from a rolled 3rd gen left unattended.

I think I would have gone and set it on fire, let the owner thank me later.

When rotating to night shifts, often I would hop in the Tacoma or tow rig and do Rampart Range out to Woodland park and then drop into Old Stagecoach Road back to Colorado Springs. This would pretty much put me in my back yard.

I seen some pretty crazy things back there and no longer go back at night or during snow storms rescuing people.

I have a compustar two way system that has a 3 mile range. Obviously no good if you’re way in the woods but if you’re camping somewhat nearby you’ll have an idea if someone is messing with your truck pretty quickly. I have my sensors set on high so if someone does anything more than a light tap the alarm sounds and sets my fob off.

I hate thieves, hate to see this.

Think of all the "Mod" time reduction there would be.

It's possible the owners came back and did that to prevent someone from stealing it out right. They may not want to pay for a tow and it may take them a couple days to get it fixed. Taking the tires ensures it doesnt move anytime soon.

We are up there all the time, I've seen a few abandoned vehicles mainly from winter but all were still in order (as far as I could tell).
