So my 2.7 doesn't have the port milled out for the camshaft position sensor on the head. The junkyards here suck. I'm debating on buying a complete (totaled) parts truck. I'd be getting it fairly cheap. Should I even bother with it? Or should I buy it, pull the engine out, and part it out?

You’ve got a bent fender apron, unless you like drilling out a few dozen spotwelds and welding I wouldn’t bother fixing that.

    Your call!!

Myself I like that parts truck option.

Unless you have a ready market to sell parts local about the only things worth parting out are things I would keep myself.

Starter /Alternator other electrical parts .

Big Heavy things the shipping kills the deal.

Plus your time to pull and ship things .

Take the parts you want scrap the rest.
