The TSB software upgrade did not fix my 2018 Tacoma. Still is jerky & drives me crazy. Running in ECT mode most of time because it is better. Love the truck but really gets on my nerves with the shifting & jerking like it has a bad plug or something. Anyone else get the upgrade & still have issues?

I have not had the TSB done and I think it drives fine. Just curious; what were you driving before the Tacoma?

I had a 2001 Tacoma 4door Trd for about 12 yrs with 300k on it before I upgraded to the 2018.

Are you expecting the 2018 to drive the same as your 2001? The 2018 transmission shift points are designed to achieve max MPG whereas the 2001 not so much.

No I wasn’t expecting the same. I understand your point but it really feels like a skip when it is trying to find gears between 40-50mph. Even my fiancé drove it & said “what is that?”

What @Tacoma816 said. There is even a separate tune for the 40-50mph stutter:
    https://www.ovtuned.com/pages/flash-manager

Scroll down a bit and read about Version 1.05.1. Try 1.05 Base, Performance, or Performance + GearLock. Only if the stutter is still there, try 1.05.1.

Also, note that OVT on the Toyota side is a one man gang supporting a ton of Tacos, and he's expecting a new baby. So, communication may be delayed.

I've been happy with the ShiftSense Pro V2 since adding it. Had it in about a year now. For the money, I'm pleased. Cruise on hilly roads is much much better, and in-town driving is miles better as well. I still get the occasional harsh down-shift when coming to a red light or stop sign, but it completely beats the factory shift points.

Your truck sits nice, what's your suspension set-up?

I bought it used with 6000 miles & dealer didn’t know details of suspension.

How many miles on it. Mine shifts better at 20k than it did initially
