Anyone have good solutions for getting rid of all these little chrome interior pieces?

Ex: Toyota emblem on steering wheel, trim around A/C vents, Trim around cup holders, etc.

I've seen the vinyl overlays, but honestly not a fan, as they don't appear to fully cover the chrome. Thought about remove some of the pieces and painting, but not sure how easy some are to remove. My biggest issue is that chrome Toyota symbol on steering wheel

I like how the paint turned out on the thread linked above. I may just save myself a few bucks and paint it myself.

For comparison, I did the TVD Vinyl decals from here and thought they worked out great! I still need to do the chrome piece around the base of the shifter knob. Rich also included the vinyl piece for the glove box key. The whole kit was only $50, I have extras so my friends are stoked, and I didn't need to tear apart my new truck! Alternatively, you can do a partial vinyl kit, but for the steering wheel, do what @tonered did here.

    Good Luck!

    :hattip: Thanks!

The 4wd knob and glove box slot look stellar. I might have to go there. They weren't around when the initial kits launched.

@rrentrop stickers fit like a champ and hold up extremely well.

What are the green/red buttons on the right side of the steering wheel? I don't have them on my 2016.

Phone talk and hang up on one side. Safety suite on other side although the green/red must be his. Mine are black.

Copy that. The red/green decals are mine. Just didn’t recognize the buttons.

:D I used the extra red/green phone buttons that you provided (thanks!) for the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (green button - to quickly adjust the distance to the vehicle in front of me :bikewhoops:) and for the Lane Departure (red - to quickly disable lane departure warning feature when it gets annoying :lalala:).
