Not at the moment. If I were to get a new card, I would be looking for the ones that have a 0% introductory rate and then plan to pay it off in time

Driving/having a car is a privilege and not an actual need, its convenience. We could all walk to work or take the bus or ride a bike. My parents didn't own a car for 13 years and my dad went to college and had a full time job. We don't need these vehicles or the payments, we do it because we want the convenience and we're lazy. My girlfriend went 40+years without her van and it's not a medical necessity. If it was a medical necessity, then it wouldn't have been funded from her own pocket, we could have had the Dr prescribe it to her and submit that to her health insurance. In fact, a lot of people can't afford these accessible vans because they're ridiculously expensive. She couldn't afford one without my income. Her point is though is, live your life and do what makes you happy. We do make payments on everything we desire to acquire. A payment is an exchange of money for a good or service, life is payments.

That is 100% dependent on where you live. Where I have spent the majority of my life there are no buses, public transit or even cab services. Where I live now walking or riding a bike to work in the winter could kill or seriously injury you.

He definitely doesn't come across like he's still bitter. He owns up to that being his mistake and uses it as a great example on his podcasts of what not to do.

And only good for people without will power? Acutely its the opposite. People without will power cant follow or stick to his program anyways. Also the information he gives about investing is very helpful.

Gonna assume the truck has loan attached to it for at least 5 years .

    I want it now mentality.

Remember when you owe a financial institution money you are their bítch until you pay it off.

    But to each their own.
