Have recently been having trouble finding Turtle Wax Ice liquid wax and the last time I bought it they changed the formula and I didn’t like it. However, I liked the stuff because you could wax all the black trim and not worry about it drying white. Looking for a comparable replacement that I can find in stores or online. Thanks :)

I looked at that but I don’t think it said anything about the trim parts on the box so I was hesitant to buy it.

Get a spray sealant. I like carpro reload or hydro2. Also p&s beadmaker is good, mothers cmx is a new one. The sio2 sealants are easy than wax and protect longer.

You can get Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid wax on black plastic and it wipes right off. That is what I use.

Alright I have to look into those. I’m not huge into detailing so I’m pretty out of my element when it comes to this stuff. I normal just wash, wax and shine the tires a couple of times a year. I honestly should do it more but just never seem to have time

I use it on my head lights and tail lights too. I used to do my hood deflector when I still had it too. Can pretty much put it on any smooth surface.

Once you try out a few of these newer products you will start doing it more often. These are very quick and easy to use and look great and last much longer than a liquid wax. If you only plan to "wax" a few times per year then i would recommend carpro reload. It is super easy to use, spray on and wipe off, and it protects for 4+ months. There are just so many options out there though. All depends on if you wanna order premium stuff online or buy something off the shelf at a big box store. You can find something thatll work well either way.

I've got a new OR and I've locked in on Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax. $15 on Amazon with a free towel. It's easy on, easy off. No white residue, ok to use on the plastic. It's not boutique quality or price, but I like it. Mequiar's or Mothers Quick Detail Spray is my in between car washes product.

One of the better waxes is Collinite 845. Or my favorite 476 paste. Well known for there durability. Many use it to provide protection through the winter.
