So you take a shabby piece of furniture, put effort into refinishing it, and...it's still shabby.

I watch that show Storage Wars sometimes, never could figure out how 90% of the lockers there's a hidden gem in there. Unless you're Jarrett, that guy fucks up almost every episode I've seen.

I might have been drinking. Also, I didn't see the other Titan thread so it was apparently not too original. But I am actually looking at the Titan so not a 100% troll thread. It didn't last long.

 

No many years ago I was in my late 20's when that was shot. 45 now.

 

I bought and installed a new carburator in my gas trimmer. It was only about $25. Runs like a champ now. I'm so pumped I ordered parts to try and repair my 40 yo Poulan chainsaw

(2) 1955 VW oval windows
A 1956 low light Ghia
A 1960 bug (This one I owned the longest out of all of them and it was stolen and recovered years later) This was my second bug and the one I kept the longest
A 1961 VW ragtop (my favorite out of all of them)
A 1966 VW bug
A 1967 VW bug
A 1969 VW bug
A 1976 VW bug (my first bug) that later became a short block donor. Smog tests suck and this was pre internet days and some of the emissions stuff was going bad

I preferred the 1967 and earlier stuff, the later stuff just seemed to be lacking soul.
