Hi there my name is Aaron. I'm asking tips and information about throttle body on a Toyota Tacoma 2009 series I'm removing the throttle body and I'm going to clean it out I saw YouTube video on it it looks pretty easy just getting the gum out repairing the black part where you have to take a drill gun and remove the screws around that black housing and take it apart and then rinse it out does anyone have information and details on that I heard removing the battery cable stops it from messing up the computer module sitting on the throttle body can I get some help

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
you shouldnt need to remove thethrottle let alone the butterfly, i just do mine installed on the truck still, move the blade with your hand and use a rag with brake clean or throttle body cleaner.

Keep the battery connected. Have someone or use something to press the throttle with key in the on position. Use throttle body cleaners and wipe away. Not really necessary to remove it.
