I’ve eaten turtles. They taste like...turtles I guess. Better than broccoli but what isn’t?

I watched a show the other day. Gordon Ramsey explores series... cooked 2 full goats for a indian wedding. Then went to some jungle where the guy had to climb a tree to a nest that contained biting ants. They needed the ants eggs and some ants to add to a certain thing to make it better.
Who was the first to figure that shit out??

 

Yep. It’s what we down here call it when you just throw whatever you have in a pot. I don’t know nothing about no golf. I wouldn’t know a golf if I saw one. But the game show guys ain’t giving you no do over.

It’s not the little snapping turtles we eat. It’s the big ol’ Terrapins about the size of a turkey platter. They have a lot of meat on them.

 

I think they eat soft shells around here. Not sure tho.

I make it a point to not think too much about what I’m eating. Eggs are one of my favorite dishes in any form. But if I think about them being chicken embryos it makes them a little less appealing.

But really I didn’t think I would like lamb. But I freaking love it! 1st time I had it was at a Greek fest in SC.
