Stock front bumper. Prefer not to preload the shocks though as i’ve heard it’s a rough ride.

You sure you only want 2"?

I wouldn't go with 5100's. I'd either go with OME or Dobinsons GS59-221. For springs, I'd go with a 2" lift spring with a spring rate of about 700lbs.

If it was me, I'd go with Dobinsons GS59-221 struts, Dobinsons C59-352 730lb springs.

Personally, I run Ironman Toyo55c 810lb springs and Dobinsons GS59-220 struts and 4" spindles putting me at 7". No bump steer, no body roll, can hit about anything at full speed and absorbs it better than a luxury ride :)

Yea lift is like a stereo system you think you only want 1 10" sub but after a month you want more

That is one of the best statements ever! :)

When I bought my truck new, all I ever thought I wanted was a 3" lift and a couple kicker 10's and 1000watt amp....

12 years later... After how many lifts and and amps and speakers.... now with 7" lift, 450watts on highs and mids, 2800watts on subs, custom box, seat mods, etc ... Getting parts together for SAS to go higher and about to redo it all again, lol!

Pairing it with a 4” maxtrac spindle for a total of 6” haha. Already have the 5100s because I was planning on running just a 2.5” with OME 885s but found out about spindles before I installed so returned coils because those would lift me too high as a prerunner without UCAs.

I had the 5100/885 combo for a couple years on stock UCA's no issue at all. These trucks usually don't need UCA's until about 3" of lift.

I thought 885s give about 3” of life to prerunners? Since 4x4s get 2.5” with the additional weight up front

Mine settled around 2.75 if I remember correctly. Alignment was never a problem over the course of 2 or 3 of them. I'd install 885's on OEM UCA's before dropping coin that may not be necessary.

True that, just park outside for half an hour and that stuff will melt off.

An eraser wheel takes all residue off immediately. You can get one for about $15. They last a long time and makes the work easy.

As already mentioned, Maxtrac spindles are really the best option out there for Prerunners. Allows you to keep stock UCAs/coilovers and add more lift later if you want.
