Would there be any chance I might have contact between the UCA’s and the tires running 305/70r16s on 16x8 0 offset?

    Anyone here running that setup?

Been searching all over and cant find an answer. I'm curious if I could use these UCA's with a 17x8.5 0 offset wheel which is 4.75bs. Tire size 285 75 17 looking at ST Maxx or Ridge Grapplers. anyone running this tire size and UCA can tell me their wheel speccs? I see others running 285/70/17 with this wheel and bs have said it clears. Any other uca recc for increasing caster with this specific rim and tire combo if not?

I’ve read the last 10 pages or so looking for more info on the rusty ball joints but haven’t found much.

I bought my high caster Std arms in Feb 2018, the ball joints are about 50% surface rusted, I do have zerks on my bushings.

Is JBA doing free replacements on the non-coated BJ’s? What about the rubber vs poly bushings?

So, after a week I finally got to drive my truck after replacing the balljoints with THESE

Did anyone else's new balljoints squeak extremely loud after they put new ones on? @Unchained 5150 @EatSleepTacos

I got my truck aligned right I replaced the balljoints because I noticed a bit of uneven tire wear, but it didn't squeak on the way to Firestone.

Trying to narrow down what could be causing it.

I did pump another 5 pumps of grease in, bringing the total pumps to 11 which is recommended. I drove it around and the squeak is more intermittent now, but still there.

    None from me either.

When’s the last time you messed with lca bushings or cams?

My truck was on stands for a few days while I rebuilt my uppers. That must’ve been the straw that broke the camels back because after that, my lca bushings were toast and squeaked like hell.

Also.....when I bought my setup I didn't notice the recommended wheel/tire sizes for the UCA's on the site. i'm running 285/70/17's on 17x8.5 -10mm. The site recommends that tire size to run on 17x8.5 -9mm. I'm guess that the 1mm difference isn't enough to worry about.....but i do have a nasty crunching sound on the passenger side goin up inclines at any rate of speed above like 5mph. Sounds like I'm hitting fender liner or something like that but I can't see any marks or indications from it. Hey @EatSleepTacos, can we look at that tomorrow when I swing by too?

Sent JBA an email about getting replacements for these. Glad I read a few pages back today. 2156D01A-D1C3-4225-ACC5-2B628026E03B.jpg

    WAY TOO MANY
Plan on getting SCS wheels 16x8 -12 4”BS. I will eventually be going to 285/75/16 when my 265/75/16 are worn. I have the high caster JBA 3* and a 2.5” lift. Am I going to run into any issues with this wheel ? JBAs wheel recommendation is 16x9 -19 4.25 BS. Any input is greatly appreciated.
