After months of shopping for a midsize truck , weighing the pros and cons ,
and lurking on this forum incessantly , I've decided what's best for me .
Just purchased a 2019 DCSB Trd sport MT , yup this 65 years young dude
joined the 3 pedal club once again .
For me there's no comparison in terms of performance and response
with the manual tranny vs the auto .
I sure hope my left knee holds up .

Ah heck. That old knee will hold up just fine. Might bring new reviverance into it! Welcome aboard! Feel free to use "reviverance" anytime you feel like it since I just made that up.

Reviverance , Wow , this a literary forum as well .
I like it , I'm not even going to call B S on it
But I think youre right , the pleasure of driving a Taco with a
manual tranny will be an additional motivator to keep going
to the gym and staying fit in my retirement years .
If and when the knees go at least I will have totally enjoyed
owning and driving the best midsize truck ever made .
I taught both my son and daughter to drive on a manual ,
sadly they don't share my fondness for MTs .
So it will be up to me to pass the torch and
teach my grandchildren to drive an MT ,
as they will inherit my trd sport . It's a responsibility
    I'll cherish .
