image.jpg Just a little tip if you are installing a Fab Four rear bumper. To extend the wire harness for trailer lights I ordered an extension from etrailer that works great. C55384 Curt T-connector. It has the 4 way extension on it that is not needed so I just wrapped that up and secured it under the truck. I guess you can cut that part off but I was in a hurry.

Just had to do a little re-location and the harness fits fine ;-)

I tried the relocation but I was not happy about the rest of the wiring rubbing on the brake lines or how tight the wires were after hooking the plug back up.

I just put a Fab Four Premium rear bumper on my 2019 Off Road this past weekend and came across the wiring harness issue myself. I was thinking that I was going to have to release all of the factory wiring harness clips to make it fit and then try to zip tie the harness backup out of the way. BUT I came across this post and will jump on this T-Connector. It kills two birds with one stone for me as I want to add a LED tailgate brake/turnlight bar and I can easily plug it into the 4-pin that comes off this T-Connector. Thanks for posting!

Don't cut it. Use it to combine the Stop n Turn lamps to one, for full C illumination.

Thinking of getting this to extend the wiring for my CBI Hi Clearance Bumper. Please elaborate on the full C illumination.

The harness has four wires. One is chassis ground, one is TAIL circuit, the remaining 2 are Left Turn n Stop combined and Right Turn n Stop combined. You'd be using the turn n stop wires. Removing/de-pinning the terminals on the rear lamps connectors to the turn n stop from the vehicle harness and taping them off. Getting the correct sealed terminals to sub the ones you removed. Each side would be a Y to the Stop n Turn slots in the connectors to the rear lamps.

This is like a foreign language to me. I’m going to have to read this several times over when I haven’t drank any beer to see if I can make sense of it, lol.

There are 3 connectors on the rear lamps.
Top one = TURN, TAIL and Ground; Middle one = STOP, TAIL and Ground; Bottom one = Back UP lamp n Ground.
Top Connector has 3 wires, you'd be removing only one. TURN (Yellow on the LEFT and Baby Blue on the Right)
Middle Connector also has 3 wires, again only one wire terminal. STOP (Baby Blue on LEFT and BLUE on the Right)

The Tow harness has 4 wires. You'll be using 2. GREEN (Left TURN & STOP) and YELLOWish (Right TURN & STOP)

The Tow harness wires need to be split Y so one wire goes to top connector and the other to middle, same on both sides of vehicle. TURN & STOP are same wire in tow harness, hence you get the full C when TURN is selected and with STOP.

So I bought a metaltech bumper. The trailer plug was made on the right side in error. Therefore I got a huge discount on it. I bought the Curt t connecter as listed above thinking it was going to work. Well I was wrong. I cut the 4 pin. Used the wire. And extended all wires by a foot and a half. Not sure if works. Will use a bolt meter and check to verify it has power. If it doesn't then I just wanted 25 bucks. Does ANYONE have any thing they can find that would help. Just an extension all I need is about 12-15 inches from the factory plug to the plug on the bumper. Any help would be great appreciated
