    My name is DC McAvoy but DC is fine,

    My first vehicle was a 1988 GMC S15 Sierra. After I flipped it 12 times hitting a dry patch doing high speed mud donuts in 1995 it was the last truck I owned. Now, I finally got a truck again, my 2019 SR Double Cab 4X4 Taco (Poor Man's Off Road Taco). Though it doesn't have a locking diff I didn't see the point of getting crawl control and all the electronic stuff since I was planning on doing a lot of mods anyway. I live in Florida so not much rock crawling to do either. My mod experience is from my training as an Auto body technician, a job I did while making my way though college. Most of my personal builds have been Euro and Rice tuning.

    So I am here looking to get some information about Tacoma Off Road builds. Being from the Southeast I know quite a bit about American truck builds but I hear Tacos have their own quirks and needs. I am looking forward to talking to everyone here. :) FYI, my main interests in my build are Overland, Hunting, Kayaking. You know, not quite Glamping and not quite roughing it. Somewhere in between so the wife and daughter will go too.

    No pictures yet besides the one I sent my wife at the dealer because she refused to go with and wait around for hours. It is VIRGIN stock beside the aftermarket blackout badges that I have took a picture yet of either. At work, the hospital I work at the parking garage is full of white TRD 4runners and then my truck. When they are lumped together I will get a pic of that for sure.
