The riverbed is why I'll never wheel my tacoma again. Used to womp on it till I hit a tree. 2wd means 2x the speed to not get stuck.

You can see the quads they use to patrol off Sweeny rd at the county yard. If theyre in the yard youre good to go. They are kept covered with tarps in the back of the garage building.

Gorman's Pronghorn Trail claims another victim...

Spent the day wheeling out in Gorman with a fun crew, who were in an early modified Yota, late model Jeep and early 4Runner.
We hit Homestead, Freeman and the Pronghorn trails. The temps were close to 80 when we left camp.

The 4Runner did a little too much bouncing on the Pronghorn 'Gatekeeper', bent the steering relay rod and had to be winched up the trail.
He was able to limp back to camp. Repairs were made and a crude alignment was done using some ingenuity.
All other vehicles made the trek unscathed.

LOL...Many years ago, I was not very well liked, by some, on the dirt bike forum. I found this graffiti on an abandoned bunker out in the desert.
Since then, the artist and I have become friends.

LOL...My self righteousness had me pointing out some other rider's 'off piste' travels. This good nature trolling would stir the pot quite a bit on the forum.
We've both come to the realization that this is just the internet. Since then, we've often shared trails, rides and gear advice or suggestions.

Unknowingly, we actually missed each other that day. He had painted that sign just a couple of hours before we arrived at the bunker. I snapped the photo and posted it on the dirt bike forum. Many laughs were had.

I took this photo of the bunker last December, 15 years after the first photo...The original graffiti has since been replaced with multiple layers of graffiti.
