There is a takeoff set of TRD Bilstein rear shocks from a third gen (2019) Tacoma for sale locally dirt cheap. I have an 09 and I wonder if they will bolt onto mine without any issues. Mine is a four-wheel-drive TRD package, but the shocks don’t look like the original Bilsteins and I am probably going to put a 2 inch add a leaf on it to level it out with the 2” spacer at the front.

3rd gen and 2nd gen shocks are interchangeable.

The 3rd gen coilovers will provide 1" lift over 2nd gen ride height up front. I would take that into mind when selecting your spacer so that you're able to get a good alignment if you are keeping your stock UCAs

The front already has 2 inch leveling blocks on the coilovers, and I don’t think it has the original Bilstein shocks upfront either. I’m adding the AAL in the back to level it out because it droops a little back there compared to the front now. The shocks I’m buying are just rear shocks, and they are new Bilsteins for $20 each.
