    :rofl::rofl::rofl::eek::eek::eek:

    HOW did that happen???

    Assuming the shoulder portion isn't equally twisted allowing you to just unbuckle and untwist I'd be unbolting my seatbelt.

    As is, it's super dangerous. The flat nature of a seatbelt strap is designed to lower pressure by decreasing force/contact area. Your contact area is probably decreased by a factor of 4 at least which means your pressure during an accident is 4x higher along that portion. It could cut you in half.

    Holy Christ.

    Looks like someone did that intentionally. There’s no way that just happens.

    Looks like my dad was buckling OP's kids in that seat.

    I have no idea how, but any time my dad "helps" my kids (they're capable of doing it themselves...) buckle up, I end up with like half a dozen twists in the belt, and it doubled over in the buckle. I have no idea how he does it, they have booster seats that hold the shoulder and lap ends, and extenders so they don't have to reach down into the seat crack, it's like 1' from where the buckle sits to the catch. :rofl:

    Definitely unbolt that shiz and untwist it... jeebus.

    My drivers side shoulder belt gets twisted( not that bad lol) on my 2010. I just undo the bottom bolt and untwist.... Just did it, can't remember if it's 12mm or 14mm.

    Access Cab? If so, open the back door. Where the belt is attached at the bottom will spin 360. Keep turning it until the twists are out. Or, as others have mentioned, remove the bolt and untwist.

    Do you leave the seatbelt plugged in, but don't actually use it? It looks like if you had a habit of sitting on TOP of the lap belt, and repeatedly getting in/out of the vehicle then yes it would twist up that way.
