Trac Rack worth it?

    i dont need it, but it would be useful at times. Price is $225 with Toyota rail clamps.. worth it? It is a full pair, not just a single rack.

    It seems like it would work well for kayaks and other long items. My kayak is always hanging out the back.

    That rack would be the ticket along with a harbor fright bed extender that goes in the receiver hitch, flop the HF extender in the vertical position and your set for kayaks and ladders. You may have to put some sort of bridal on the HF rack so it doesn’t wiggle, but I think it would work great. I hate having my kayak hang out the back in traffic.I just know one day It’s going to get smashed and then get pushed into my cab.

    Edit. Never mind about the HF extender, didn’t realize it was for a pair. That’s even better.
