Can you wet sand rock guard?

    I just had my truck repaired after a deer incident. I told body shop to make sure they rock guarded the lower portion of the doors like the factory. It looks like they applied the rock guard last and not first then clear coat over it like the factory. There's also a hard tape line where it stops. Can I wet sand it to tame it down a bit? Any help would be appreciated. Not worth the hassle to take it back and get it re done.

    Maybe just live with it awhile and see if it bugs you in a few months. You run the risk of making it worse. Sanding you will probably need to do the entire side to get it to match.

    That's what I'll likely do. I used some compound on it and it smoothed out the roughness a bit. Just looks a little non factory imo

    Have them fix it the right way. Its clearly not done right

    So one side is textured, while the other side is not. What the heck. They should make it right, same as before the Deer.

    One side is factory original. Passengers side is very textured and there is a cut off line instead of blending into the regular paint (tape line)
