My pick up was stuck in four Lo—nothing that I could do helped. I pulled the actuator and disconnected the front axle manually. I also removed the transfer case actuator and pushed the shaft in — to take it out of low range, so that I could return home from fishing — 202mi. ( I thought it was in 2H )
My pick up is up on stands now. The transfer case shifting shaft will only move one half inch in and out while stuck in 4h.
Sounds like a teardown of the transfer case. I am looking for comments from someone who may have experienced this. TIA
