I never thought of using balsamic on burgers.

When I make chicken Alfredo after I cook the chicken I’ll put balsamic in there and kinda caramelize it onto the chicken. Then I throw the sauce on top of it to warm it up.

Check Home Depot at the end of summer. They're assembled and the prices really drop. Try to get all stainless including the food grates. A side burner comes in handy for heating up sauces or cooking your beans. Also look for a warming rack. They come in handy for foods that cook quicker than others. Don't forget a cover too. If you want to entertain for larger groups look for a 4 burner grill. Otherwise a 3 or even 2 burner will work. 3 or 4 will allow for a more indirect method.

Or you could go with one of those barrel shaped charcoal grills. Those are excellent if gas isn't your thing.

I've burned the bottom out of both types I've used them so much in the past. Here though my grilling is restricted to the winter months mostly because the bugs at night any other time are horrendous. So I'm getting ready for it and really looking forward to trying the Pit Faced BBQ rubs @Bigdaddy4760 has gotten me into lately. He swears by them and I plan on doing some damage to the meat industry here real soon.

Judging by the look of that fantastic dinner you had the right grill will only makes things more easy and enjoyable.

I’ve had mine over a year. Lol

I just don’t know how to use it. I also like my smoker/grill better than most other things.

My dad was a gourmet chef and could make unbelievable shit in the kitchen. We’d go out and eat somewhere then the next week have the exact same thing at home. He could eat something and tell everything they put on/in the food then recreate it at home. Idk how in the hell he could do that.

I remember we went out one time and had these pork chops that had this red sauce/gravy on top of it. We had it the next week at home. I remember asking him how he made that sauce and know what was in it? He said all it was was Catalina salad dressing cooked in with the pork chops after they were pan seared. How the hell do you do that???!?!? Lol

Definitely gonna try this! We like putting things in the crock early in the morning, then set out to do our chores all day then just plop down to a delicious hot meal like this.

    Thanks Murph! :hungry:

Wow! Quite knowledgeable! Thank you! You guy's are all very helpful! I'd love to get a really nice one but we don't have a covered deck yet and we've had the pup. Hopefully he'll get out of his chewing phase completely someday so we can get a really nice one!

You're welcome. This site has helped me so much too.

Well even decent grill covers are on sale then too. You can wrap bungie cords around the bottom of the cover so the pup won't be so tempted. And yes, it's just a phase. He will definitely grow out of it.
