    Just my opinion, but they don't look all that great when new, and it's all downhill from there.
    They don't improve with age.
    Old guys (and gals) with tattoos...ugh.

    AND

    A buddy got one when he was in the Big Red One (Army).
    Yeah, the tattoo is a simple 1, in red. First Infantry Division.
    He went with a bunch of buddies one night, all of them very drunk.
    He got hepatitis C.
    That was many years ago, and his health all his life was affected.
    Right now he's on some very nasty medications and is on a liver transplant list.

    FINALLY

    It's no longer cool when everyone's doing it. :notsure:

    In my generation, most guys who had one... had perhaps a single tattoo, not visible when in street clothes.
    And they'd been in the service, so it was sort of a rite of passage. A commemoration of their time in service.
    Now, everybody seems flaunt tattoos, and they don't mean anything in comparison.

    Sorry, everyone. No offense.
    I'm polite enough to never say that to anyone in particular or in person.
    Which would serve no purpose, of course, except to deliberately offend.
    And people are free to do so, as they should be.
    Not for me.

    It’s ok by me that everyone has their own opinion. Totally respect that and mostly your deliverance. You presented that well and in a non offensive manner. I have a problem when people voice their opinion in an arrogant manner, if ya know what I mean? My 4 are family related. My favorite is my kids signature.
