Seen a few of these in Bavaria over the years.
Last year one crashed with 20 on board and I don't know if the rest are still operating yet.

EAA has I think three Ford Tri-Motors here giving rides at the show.. They brought the little one down to our Museum last year for a week, I got to ride on it then... That is an experience!!

I think I read somewhere the "bigger boat" line was ad-lib'd by Roy Schneider. Still one of my favorite movies to watch from the the first time I saw it in the theater as a 10yo.

It kinda sucks to look back to the days when I would walk across the street to Radio Shack and get a free 9v for my transistor radio only to see the price of these new batteries. But I think the cost now will be worth the peace and quiet for 10 years...by then I'll probably be so hard of hearing I won't hear the chirp anyway.

We don't have that dreaded exercise...glad I moved and transferred. When we first moved I was still working on the other side of the river. During dls I would leave the house at 0600 and get to work an hour away at 0600. I'd leave there at 1630 and get home at 1830.
