Running Boards... Availability different in Canada?

I've been looking at getting a set of running boards for my 2019 Access Cab OR. I've read all the forums discussing the difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen versions and how both will fit. However, things seem a little more complicated here in Canada.

The Toyota Canada website, when doing a build and price, shows what looks like the gen 2 running boards as an option for both the 2019 double and access cabs. The description also describes them as having plastic foot steps. So did we not get the aluminum version up north?

I basically want to know what I'll be sold if I walk into my local dealer to buy a set as everyone talks about the current generation getting the all aluminum treatment. The parts guys I've talked to are of no help.

Also, can anyone with an access cab confirm that the access cab versions of the gen 2 and 3 are the same looking, just shrunken down in size?

    Thanks.

Your going to have to go in and talk to your local dealer. They will carry different options and there are also many aftermarket ones they will also offer. Find the ones you want and tell them you want them installed with the new truck for free AFTER you have come to an agreement on the truck price.
