Highly doubt as it is on the side of the truck that I wouldn't think would get that much direct sunlight. And Pyrite Mica For The Win

I took mine off of my 2014 recently, black truck, no fading. It’s also parked outside all the time in Florida. I used a compound after to get it to look right though.

i want to do the same thing as OP but i'm also worried about fading i have a 2013 magnetic grey. i have super-OCD so if there is fading it will literally drive me insane. my plan is as fallows.... i want to take off all the plastic emblems on doors and tailgate, if fading is present than i will paint emblems black and replace....bc i hate chrome! if i take them off soon i can post my findings.

I sincerely doubt you’re anywhere near the realm of OCD you speak of:

Your post is beyond reproach in terms of punctuation, captitalization and being spelled correctly.

I took off the original TRD decal on my '05 last year (black truck was 12 years old at the time), and replaced it with the newer style (different shape) decal, and there was no paint fade whatsoever.

Took mine off of a 2012 Magnetic gray..varsal and cheap Nu-finish polish and nothing is visible. I have religiously kept my truck cleaned and waxed as I am sure you have if you have a good dose of OCD.
