Howdy All. Researching wheels and tires for my black 2018 SR5, and having a hell of a time trying to get solid info on what the largest tire I can run with the stock suspension. I have no desire to lift the truck, but I am interested in leveling out the stance, because she sits a bit tail-high. The truck was delivered with 16” wheels with P245/75 R16 109S tires. Today I saw a 4Runner with some 17’s running P265/70 R17 Nitto Terra-Grapplers which did not appear to be lifted in any way. I also am interested in a set SRS’s 17” SR8’s. But I cannot seem to find definitive information if this combination will work on my truck. Anyone have any insight if this combination will jive? Anyone ever install this combination? Also, would any reprogramming of the trucks computer be required if they would fit due to speedometer issues? And lastly, what do you do about the TPS sensors? But a new set? Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

They will fit fine. Don’t need to do anything for speedo since it’s not a huge difference. TPMS can be swapped onto the new wheels

For a 16" wheel the largest is 265/75-16. A 17" rim will be 265/-17. These are both the same overall size.

As far as the back being higher it's called take. Trucks have it as they expect you to use the bed for carrying stuff. Putting weight there will make it squat. Only way to fix that is to lift the front slightly, or wait a few years till the crappy Toyota leaf springs flatten out.

Thanks fellas. I appreciate it. Being an aircraft mech, I defer to superior knowledge when it come to cars/trucks.

Hawk, you mentioned the “take”. I am assuming that using a leveling kit raises the front end slightly to even out the stance? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies. There is almost too much information and opinions out there, and my head is spinning!

If you just want to level it get the bilstein 5100s up front. 265-75s are the right size for no lift.
