You have to select the options, which include "no thanks", then it works fine

You still have about 10 days since you got shackles and cross tube option. The lead times on my site are accurate

@ARCHIVE Well add me to the list with the dakars. Jacked the truck up for a tire rotation and once the rear wheel was off the ground I noticed this. The second leaf seems to binding on the shackle both sides preventing further articulation. I have the 4.9” shackle in use with the dakars and as you can see, the shackle hasn’t even fully rotated over, which it can under vertical droop. It seems vertical travel is unaffected unless you take into about the massive amount of leaf separation. I understand that the OME springs are cheap and you get what you pay for when it comes to leafs, but I think we all know ARB could do better in designing the EL095(6)R as an affordable alternative to other brands. No fault to the hangers or shackles themselves, I love the design. I plan on eventually switching to a different pack/shackle/lower mount configuration to optimize bump travel for spring over. Work in progress.

You rotate your tire with a hi-lift when you have a floor jack? Dat's sketchy

This is right before I threw it on jack stands. Which I realized I hadn’t done when after taking off the rear lugs  (I blame 103 degrees it was that day). Floor jack doesn’t get the rear tire off the ground without stacking 5+ 2x4s, which makes both methods sketchy. :burp:

If you have jack stands why don’t you lift from the rear diff?

I also wanted to check clearance between the tire and bypass tub on the other side under articulation. Which is when I noticed the contact between the spring and shackle.

That Dakar shackle end is impossible to design around, thanks for showing the contact.

So if I’m installing HH’s, I should expect this contact since I’m running Dakars right now? Any fix prior to install? Is trimming the leaf feasible? Since it’s the very end of it, it shouldn’t affect performance should it?

The fix is trimming the 2nd/3rd leaf down, trimming a minimal amount shouldn't stress the main, it makes it similar to other leaf packs. Happens with stock shackles and hangers to

I was surprised to see him using a longer shackle with his Dakars. I believe you recommend using stock shackles when Dakars and HH are combined.

He was planning to go SUA so opted for long shackle. I still recommend the shorter shackles for SOA

@Shmellmopwho installed my hangers and cross tube today!

First off big thanks to Ryan for hooking it up once again! If you are in socal and don’t want to install them yourself, Ryan has these down to a science!

Now for the hangers and cross tube.

Holy crap I cannot believe the ride quality improvement from these. Everyone says it’s better, but I guess my expectations were a lot lower because I was blown away when I drove my truck.

It’s a lot smoother in the rear, and going through turns you can really feel the difference from the rear end being more solid.
    10/10 product would purchase again.

Next on the list is archive shock relocation kit!
