It’s mechanical, it’s going to fatigue...regardless of brand. Buy Icons and you are going to pissed when you have to rebuild them.

My factory suspension is causing me to rub now because it’s fatigued after 8 years. Damn Toyota sucks too.

Also important and relevant, when I did replace my 5100's in the Ultimates, I had an issue and Toytec Tech Support was extremely helpful in helping me resolve my problem.

I've had several problems with Eibach springs, either not being matched in spring rate right out of the box, or fatiguing prematurely. The Eibach springs that I have bought 10 years ago or earlier were good, but the ones from the last few years are junk. They supply springs to a lot of suspension manufacturers, so avoiding them takes some investigating. Fox and Toytec use them, among others. I always thought they were American made, but most if not all are made in China. Fox would not remedy the problems unless I returned the springs to them, leaving me without a truck for weeks. Eibach will not directly warranty the springs that you buy through suspension manufacturers like Fox or Toytec. Bottom line, all my Eibach springs went in the dumpster. I've been running Icon springs with good luck so far. I don't know who makes them, but at least Icon seems to demand a level of QC from their suppliers.

I am currently looking at a Toytec lift. I live in Denver & was super impressed at their shop. Im getting a 3in lift with the Toytec aluminum top hats. I'll get MD dakars & boss rear as well. I only have my leer shell plus 200 lbs of camping gear. Also, OME is going to be to stiff & these are the 3 contenders!

    1. Maybe? The adjustable 620/5100’s coilovers are only available now in their aal/block lift kit. Damn, I don't want the aal or blocks. Also, if dakars was an option this would be perfect for me with boss in the rear. 2. I was thinking of buying these & was wondering how different they are? Really, no adjustment & a 600 coil. Hmmm, they seem to be the same shock? What happened to the adjustable feature & the 620 coil? Damn again. 3. Screw it - its red. 45

I wanted to update this thread. I sent an inquiry to Icon, and Andrew Cvitonavich confirmed that Icon springs are made in Southern California. I also learned that Wheeler coils are made by Eibach. I've been using Icon's 650# coils, and I'm very happy with them. It's just good to know what you are really buying. The name on the box doesn't always tell the story.
