    I was doing some interior sound insulation and looked under steering column to find this.

    is that loose washer/ ring retainer supposed to be like this or is it broken?


    This is right before the shaft goes into firewall outside.

    truck got close to 43K miles and had steering rack replaced already once.

    2019 Tacoma SR5 Dualcab
    Hey, have the same issue in my 2019 Tacoma SR5. Super annoying rattle/shake in the wheel over any and every little bump. Where you able to replace or solve the issue? Tried tapping back in, but doesn’t seem to want to set.
