Is the Icon lift worth the $$$

Planning on saving for custom valved kings but the high speed 2 foot drop would of made any oem replacement shock leak.

ive had Kings off the shelf wasn’t impressed with ride. Traded for icons and mind blown.

I will say kings def have a better build quality.

 

I heard that Kings and icon springs are rebranded Eibach. No idea if it’s true or not.

And Fox and ADS, all the same Eibach spring, just different colors.

 

So really the only diff is the shock and marketing wank?

 

Color is a big part of it too.

But the shock is more important to how the suspension performs than the coil, no point in reinventing the wheel when Eibach already makes a product that perfectly suits their needs.

 

The shock is the bread and butter. Coils are just a wrapped steel rod.
