I gently pressed the brake pedal ahead a slight ways with my hand to try to feel where the binding is and now the pedal won't spring back to rest position. It is stuck and won't release. Unable to start it or shift out of park. Any ideas?

I'd call the dealership and have them send out a tow truck.

After I called the dealership to bring it in with a tow truck, I tried to start it again and somehow it unjammed and I got it started and drove over to the dealership. They checked it out and found nothing. Then when the service manager was pumping the brake without starting it bound up for him. He somehow got it unbound and I started it and went home. So I thought I would check it out and moved the pedal softly forward by hand and it got stuck again. I have tried a few times after letting it sit some time to no avail. I had another post yesterday regarding a binding feeling when using the brakes while driving.

I'd be a bit paranoid about a brake pedal that's doing what your describing. Brakes come in very handy.

Did you get a work order or anything from the dealership to show you took it in for that problem?

I'd want one to cover my ass in case something happens.

I didn't have an official appointment, he squeezed me in for a quick look. He said he made note of it for warranty. Brakes stop the truck just fine other than that little bit of a bind at the start when depressing but smooth after that. Many other owners have noticed the same thing on their new builds in the last few months. Not sure if any of this has to do with the push button start being more complicated at the linkages.
