Same thing happened in my uncle's new Challenger. I guess Toyota and Dodge have the same quality fit and finish these days. Talk about Toyota moving in the wrong direction....

sometimes when I have a cold beverage in my cupholders the condensation from the ice melting in my Big Gulp produces copious amounts of water in my cupholders. try using a coozie on the bottom of your beverages it absorbs the water very good[IMG]

People shouldn't confuse dealerships and Toyota Corporate. Yes the dealerships represent the manufacturer but let's face, some people suck at customer relationships. It it were mine, I would opened a case with Toyota Corporate a long time ago in seeking resolution. Since OP has already done that, either seek lemon law resolution or get rid of it and get the Ford.

the water comes from cold beverages with melting ice produces condensation in the cupholders, there is no other pictures that the OP has produced that shows any water entering elsewhere, it should be very easy to find the entrance point of the water if a leak is present

Agreed. No way would I put up with an interior water leak in ANY brand new vehicle. Water is like electricity, it always seeks the path of least resistance. I would get names of everyone you have spoken to so far and elevate your complaint until it gets resolved to your satisfaction.

I would not give up my Tacoma over a leak, I would find and fix the leak myself. Spraying the whole top with water wont pin point your problem, it needs to be done in steps. First spray the shit out of the windshield giving plenty of time for water to make its way inside, if no leaks move to the shark fin and do the same only give more time for water to travel up front, if no leaks then move to the brake light doing the same, make sure you give it plenty of time, a drip takes a while to travel up front. If still no leaks then it has to be the pre drilled mounting holes under the rubber strips on your roof. Fill them with silicone. its very easy to remove the rubber strips and reinstall them. I hate to see you give up an awesome truck without a real fight. Good Luck

We bought a Camry back in 2000 or so, it was a new generation that was a little wider etc. It was our first Toyota and I swore it would be the last. The car was absolute rubbish. The hood wouldn't close so I tried to realign it but the whole body was horribly aligned. The driver side door had 3/4" gap and the passenger side door actually made contact when closed. It didn't start out that way but slowly over time it just started coming apart. I took the Camry to three different dealers and sent photos to Toyota. The dealers told me to kick rocks, "Toyota's Rule." Toyota never responded in any way to the several letters and photos I sent them. When I brought the Blue Taco home it had about 15,000 miles on it. I did have to re center the bed but outside that its been a great truck. I still have a sour taste in my mouth from that Camry. Toyota was just so friggin arrogant and didn't give me the time of day. They think their crap don't stink? It's been years but I still tell Ya...I was bent.

After that negative Camry experience I am shocked that you gave Toyota your business again.

I swore I would never own another Toyota but, going back to my FJ, I love the off road capability.

My bet is the windshield. That is the one thing they can’t “check”. It has to be taken out and reinstalled.

He's sharing his experience, which is common on this site.

You've contributed absolutely zero to this thread, which I guess is also common.
